"No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man."

Heraclitus

Fly fishing holds within itself many character building tools as well as life lessons. Wading waist deep in rushing water, shows the undeniable strength and power of a raging river, and nature in its natural form. The importance of patience as well as persistence, cast after cast, trying to achieve the perfect presentation to an eager audience who can spot the "impostures" from a mile away...only to scorn them with a rising of the nose, and a quick look away! Hearing nature awake to start its busy day, as the sun peaks over the Eastern mountains, shows us how many things that we take for granted in our "busy" day... Things that don't know, or care for that matter, that we and our first world problems exist. It is a time for complete silence of the mouth and the mind, in which we connect with our surroundings and try our best to become one with it. Fly fishing to me, is much more than standing in water, trying to catch a fish....it's a way of life, that can effect the soul in an extremely rich and positive manner!
